Annual Student Red Carpet Showcase of Films: Lynn University Performing Arts Center – April 6

We couldn’t be more excited about the 23rd Annual Student Showcase of Films this year. There is a stellar line-up of student finalist, competing in eleven different categories. This year the Student Showcase of Films received well over 600 student submissions representing 80 different schools across Florida. The judging panel of 42 industry professionals had a tough assignment choosing the finalists, and we are really looking forward to seeing the film clips created by these exceptionally talented students.

The red-carpet awards show will take place at the Keith C. & Elaine Johnson Wold Performing Arts Center at Lynn University on April 6, 2018, pre-show festivities beginning at 9:30am and SHOWTIME at 10:30am. The event is free, and the public is encouraged to attend.

The live awards show will be integrated with a high-impact video gaming theme, with staging and decor elements like Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Mario, and more. According to SSOF Director and Host, Frank Licari, “we will weave the world of video games into our awards show to create a hilarious presentation sure to entertain gamers of all ages!”
